The Religious Nationalist and Its Inability to Accept the Rest of the World, Global Economic Development, Helping Refugees and the Homeless, Disruption is Change for the Better

Why did Americans vote for Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential election? Social scientists have proposed a variety of explanations, including economic dissatisfaction, sexism, racism, Islamophobia, and xenophobia. The current study establishes that, independent of these influences, voting for Trump was, at least for many Americans, a symbolic defense of the United States’ perceived Christian heritage. Data from a national probability sample of Americans surveyed soon after the 2016 election shows that greater adherence to Christian nationalist ideology was a robust predictor of voting for Trump, even after controlling for economic dissatisfaction, sexism, anti-black prejudice, anti-Muslim refugee attitudes, and anti-immigrant sentiment, as well as measures of religion, sociodemographics, and political identity more generally. These findings indicate that Christian nationalist ideology—although correlated with a variety of class-based, sexist, racist, and ethnocentric views—is not synonymous with, reducible to, or strictly epiphenomena of such views. Rather, Christian nationalism operates as a unique and independent ideology that can influence political actions by calling forth a defense of mythological narratives about America’s distinctively Christian heritage and future

First off economic conditions have improved, if you look around your, you have got more than stuff and fed  way better than your parents and grand parent were ever had and fed. You are afraid of the worldwide female potential that lies in there talents and do not want the domince of man suppression and control over a woman to hinder into new territories outside  of your comfort zones, and yes , I am talking to the Christian man and the Islamic man control freak. You are afraid of a diversified portfolio of one world coming together and mixing, with free information flow, open borders, free thought, free commerce. You only are afraid of Muslim as they are afraid of globalization as you to them competing for the dominant religion in the world such as Christianity being number 1 and Islam being number 2 to fill your coffers and control the masses from the Tree of Knowledge (Internet) and holding them down with the Tree of Life (old doctrine for modern times).

You are afraid of your jobs being taken by legal aliens, but you are right in you disgust for illegal aliens. You hate that the black culture has taken hold in our country, but has made a lot of revenue in the process, you see, sales are based on demand and not programmed or stagnated. Basic economics of supply and demand, now put this on a global scale, you have a stronger consumer customer base. The customer is always right.

You are heartless in understanding of a refugees plight, as you are to a homeless human being, and care more for your cat or dog. This is nationalism, this is religious fascism, this is two faced in aspect with split personality syndrome. I say all this not to all religious affiliations that are international, worldly, racially, and acceptable to all backgrounds in the congregations.

This is basically a movement to disrupt technological change and it's affects on it social and moral older traditions. It is those who do not want to change, when change is inevitable and is a worldwide revolution and evolution for the good of all in poverty, opening a world of opportunity for all.
