President Donald Trump’s nationalist trade adviser Peter Navarro has staged a startling comeback. His rival, Gary Cohn, is on his way out, while the steel and aluminum tariffs that Navarro pushed for are now national policy. And he might even take over Cohn’s job.
Now it is the nationalist back in the spotlight for trade, as with Germany before WW2. Hopefully 2018 with change tempo in this or unless he becomes a dictator and dissolves the Congress, which will never happen without a mass protest or civil war or revolution of ideas. If the military or nationalist have infiltrated the police forces or the military, this would be a problem, which I think that they have already done in some cases.
