1919-21-Refusal to join the League of Nations, granting women the right to vote, Puritanism and Fundamentalism, inflation on steel (sound familiar), police unions formed, communism suspicions, KKK, race riots, Harding is a member of the KKK, rise in hate groups, suspicious of foreign ideas and the rest of the world, harsh immigration laws, Anglo Saxon supremacy, rise of getting back to normalcy, nationalistic patriotism.
The 1921-22-Progressive error over, steel inflation and mills shutting down, focus on rural America, technology resistance, radios, motion pictures and Hollywood, counter-culture rebellion, journalism and newspapers being called fake or out of touch (hmmm?), presidential scandals, income inequality and prosperity of the rich.
1922-25-Calvin Coolidge, America is a business and shall be run like one, more use of electricity and appliances, easy credit, farm mortgages collapse and Coolidge looks down upon the farmer, punishing Germany, protectionism, Nazism, Fascism rise.
1925-28-Modernization vs Fundamental Conservatism, evolution, and science being questioned and suppressed, Bible vs modern science and technological trends, freedom of information flow, suspicion of foreigners and immigrants, losing the war on alcohol and prohibition (Trump is anti-alcohol) being lost, propping up the police state, gangsters profiting off of the black markets, Al Capone.
1929-Hoover, Smoot-Harley Act-trade war (steel), keeping prohibition, building up of the stock market bubble and then the big bust (stock market crash), Depression.
1930-33-Great Depression, mass unemployment, anti-immigrant hysteria.\
