The recent tariff wars that are about to begin under Trump are not completely understood by those who voted for him for economic reasons. Look around you, because of free trade and cheap materials and the strength of the dollar, you have more than your mom and dad did.
Low currencies create jobs, but the choice is a low dollar or strong dollar. Floating currencies have more to do with jobs than protectionism. Protectionism causes inflations, high-interest rates, which will directly affect the mortgage and car borrowing rates.
Supply, demand, quality of the product, make the sales of the service or product, which intern make the sale, no sale, no jobs. So what is international tariff wars going to do for America?
