Things We Can and Can't Afford in the United States

Things that we cannot afford as citizens:

1. Healthcare for all
2. Public Transportation
3. Rebuilding and maintaining the nation's infrastructure
4. Supporting our public school system
5. College for all through the public system
6. Renewable energy
7. Clean environment
8. Feeding our own people or the poor
9. Providing shelter for human beings, which no one should be homeless

What we can afford:

Iraq and Afghan War $6 trillion
Wall Street bailout $13 trillion
Big Oil subsidies $37 billion
F-35 program $2 trillion
